There are questions that I consistently get asked. Below is a list of some of the main ones. If you have a question you’d like me to answer, feel free to send me an email!
What sets you apart from other trainers in the industry?
Throughout my life, and more importantly, since I have been involved in the Health and Fitness industry, I’ve had the chance to meet people of all ages and experiences. My youngest client is 8 years old and my oldest is 83! I’m able to engage with clients professionally while also bonding with them personally. This creates an atmosphere of trust – perfect for their health and wellness journey.
What is the difference between training at Trueform and training at a chain gym like World Health or Good Life?
Trueform sets itself apart from chain gyms because of its relaxing environment and tailored approach to training. Each individual that walks through the doors gains a unique experience. Our private gym caters to a wide variety of clientele: people looking to get in shape, fitness enthusiasts, seniors, athletes, expectant moms, and people with disabilities. Everyone is welcome!
The Trueform team takes pride in helping people feel like they are part of a family, and everyone celebrates each other’s success. It’s been a joy going to work everyday and seeing the smiles on my client’s faces.
Do you write fitness programs for clients, in addition to your training sessions with them?
I do! I can design a variety of programs for my clients – the length and level of personalization of the program depend on investment. If you’re curious, get in touch and we can discuss options and cost.
What is your cancellation policy?
I have a 24-hour cancellation policy for Personal Training and a 48-hour cancellation policy for Nutritional Consulting. Time is valuable, and because I book clients well in advance, it’s important that I receive plenty of notice if someone is unable to attend an appointment.
Where do you personal train out of?
I train out of Trueform Personal Training. The address is #148, 134 Pembina Road in Sherwood Park.
What does my first session look like with you?
A typical first session with me starts with a 15-20 minute discussion about your goals and concerns. From there, we do a cardiovascular, strength and kinetic chain assessment. This first meeting is crucial as it helps me create a training plan specifically for you.
