This is my daily “go-to” drink. Sometimes I need something more to drink than just water. I am not a fan of sweet beverages, so this is a nice alternative to a bit of flavour, while still getting great nutritional value! I usually make one big pitcher and then pour a glass as I go throughout the day or fill up my water bottle. I find the contents in the pitcher last 2-3 days before needing a refresh.


  • Lemon or lime juice helps stimulate and regulate the digestive tract
  • Mint leaves add a nice flavour and well can help you digest more effectively, helps relax cramped up muscles, and the breakdown of dietary fats

What you will need

  • 1-2 liters of water, depending on how strong you want it to taste
  • lemon or lime
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves (approximately 10)
  • Ice cubes
